Another obvious post: LJ is such a wonderful thing. Makes me feel like all my friends and acquiantances are in the same room chatting and laughing together. One of my favorite parts is when friends respond to other friends, just like at a brick-and-mortar party (had to use some jargon for fear of getting corny).

interesting because I see it not at all like a party - but then I rarely go back and look at comments if they aren't there when I read the first post, and I often don't read comments if the post didn't interest me to much. I see it more like a snapshot in time, depending on when you go there, and there isnt' the non-verbal clues.

I like LJ cause it is like getting postcards from my friends far away.
