As soon as I post this, I am officially signing off the internet (I'm disabling my card, dammit!) to get back to the novel. Kij and I just had the most yummilicious lunch I've ever eaten in a hotel cafe. I had actual Kobe beef sandwich that made me close my eyes with the pleasure of eatin' it (and I'm not a big fan of beef), and Kij had a little pizza that had an orange sauce and creamy mozzarella with hand-sized pieces of some special pepperoni on top... mmmmmm. They also make the best French fries ever, but as I'm trying to stay fit, I only had a few and ate my sandwich open-face - the latter made the beef even more of a centerpiece.
I could live here.
Back up in the room, which is decorated in a really lively Southwest color scheme that is thoroughly modern in design. Great place, though not cheap. But if you're in the mood for splurging, I recommend it when you're in town!
