Fancy Feast: Tatsuko's favorite!

I have been a little worried about tatsuko_shikibu's weight for years now: She averages between 6 and 7 pounds - just a tiny thing! And keeping food inside of her is a challenge, too, so she only eats soft food (she nibbles a little crunchy stuff, but only as an appetizer, I guess). She's been eating less lately, so I thought I'd try something new: Fancy Feast soft food. It's pretty much human food by the looks of things. Last night, shredded chicken in broth; this morning, turkey nibbles in gravy.

Wow, but does she love this stuff! She just about finished the chicken in one meal last night, and it was all gone by this morning. But the turkey - whoah, it's already gone! Tonight's menu: chicken hearts & liver in gravy!

I expect that, very soon, she'll exceed 7 pounds for the first time in a decade ;-)

I'm glad to hear this for your sweet little furry pal! We have the same problem with our wonderful Miss Ruby Louise who just won't eat much, and has always been skin, fur, and bones. I'll try some Fancy Feast for her.

Our trouble is that our other beloved kitty Vincent is overweight and our vet has instructed us to feed him low calorie food. But he tends to feel slighted and react by harassing Ruby when he notices she's getting a tastier and more caloric dinner plate than he is.

It's okay. She'll show him when she eventually gets elected to the school board. May we count you as one of her supporters? She's pro-science and evolution and sex education positive!

Heee! I'd vote for her. Will you "assist" her in debates and writing? Cats aren't so good at that.

Yeah, I figure I'll stay on as her "assistant" to develop the campaign print materials, but it's quickly become clear that her well-placed purrs, hisses, meows are already articulate beyond the average politician!
