If you've been listening to the news, you know that meteorologists are barely able to contain themselves over the glory of the storm currently pummeling most of the US. Here's what it looks like from space:

Meteorologists predict that the storm will bury snowfall records across the Midwest. In the East, it’s expected to deliver ice storms that could cause $1 billion in damage. It’s the latest in a string of storms fitting a pattern predicted by climate scientists. As the world warms up, the air can hold more moisture, loading storm systems with more water that’s ultimately dumped back onto the Earth.
Yes, global warming = more dramatic winter weather! It's a wild, wild world. And exciting! SNOWPOCALYPSE FOR ALL!

It looks like someone smeared frosting on our corner of the globe.
So, I have to sort of wonder about the energy crisis of the early 70s and the crazy snowiness that winters then had as well. Were we just unable to measure worldwide climate as well back then? Without Internet, did we just not hear about what was happening?
Rhetorical questions, really.

I had to shovel to get the mail.
Which is six feet from the front door.

Me, I shoveled the snow out from around my parked & bagged Vespa, parked on the front stoop under the eaves, several feet away and eight inches up from the sidewalk. Rather, BURIED IN A GIANT DRIFT, I mean.
Have you ever posted photos of said Trip? I don't recall seeing any and I wanna!

Had a guy offer a trade for a '69 T-bird today, but I'd really rather have cash.

Doesn't look like it's been down! How much are you asking, again? That's the fourth generation, right? What year? I wants!

It's an '07 1050cc. It runs great and has about 11k on the clock.
It has, however, been down. The headlamps were damaged and I replaced them with an Acerbis headlight unit. The instrument cluster was busted and so I replaced it with a nice Veypor gauge system. The handlebars were fine but I didn't care for the bend so I replaced them with a Renthal set. The frame's perfect.
There are cosmetic flaws, but the bike itself is in great working order.
Hmm. . . maintenance work is current, but it could use a new chain.
I'm asking $4,600 on Craigslist.

But a tiny voice in my head thinks it looks like the US's angry ex-girlfriend has erased his picture from the globe.
