This is interesting: a pill which eliminates the period while the woman takes it over a 4-month-duration. Imagine, only having a period every 4 months...

Strange how those of us who *don't* normally have a period every month are told we need to be put on a pill to *make* us have a period every month to avoid the risk of endometrial basal cell dysplasia that is (so we're told) endemic to not shedding your endometrial lining on a regular basis and which (so we're told) often leads to uterine cancer...

...and yet apparently this isn't true for women who normally have a period every month, so it's somehow magically okay for them to only menstruate 3x a year?

I don't buy it -- either way. I think someone's being lied to in the name of pharmaceutical profit, and I think it's women as a collective class.
